With its low-down powerband system (PBS), the NANOTECH SPORT UPTIDER allows for casting heavy leads and baits a significant distance from the boat, and has the brute force to bully large fish to the boat even in strong tidal conditions. However, what truly sets this rod apart is its exquisitely balanced glass tip. The tip not only remains stable in strong tide pulls, it also superbly cushions the movement of the boat preventing the lead from becoming dislodged from the seabed.
The rod boasts no less than 10 top quality SeaGuide guides mounted onto a blue-carbon weave blank and beautifully accented with cobalt blue, black, and silver whippings. The high-density EVA handle grip features two flattened sides ensuring vastly enhanced grip and control when fighting hard running fish.
